Moody... in a good way. It is snowing outside for the first time this year. Looks so beautiful. I love this time of year. Thanksgiving in a week and a half. Family and friends to be thankful for!
I have to admit...I am listening to Christmas music. I usually start at the beginning of October. LOL It is so peaceful right now. Sitting at the computer with the soft lamp light glowing, listening to Sarah McLachlan singing In the Bleak Mid-Winter , watching the snow out the back window, knowing Ethans asleep in his warm bed. Sigh...very comforting. Thank you Lord for you beauty and your peace.
What would it be like to live without the Lord? Without knowing his love and peace? Without that inner joy that wells up at times like this knowing it is because of him and his love for us? Life can sure be tough at times and the trials come, but right now it is so peaceful. I can have that security knowing that through it all he takes care of us and we can use those times to draw nearer to him. Thank you Lord!

There is something to be said for peace...what a wonderful feeling! That is the one thing I had in Corpus, though I was freaking out a lot in the beginning. Wonder why we sometimes try to fight it, when it's really what we want?! Peace sometimes equals quiet which could equal lonliness....but with a change of mindset it becomes quiet wonderful!
